SHINE believes that 'youth' are a potential force, who if mobilized and channelized in the right manner and invested in, could serve as agents of social change and transformation. So we are focusing on empowering the youths to grow as responsible and independent adults. Once they are developed they will support the nation building processes.

Shine has conducted soft skills training for college students and impacted more than 2,00,000 individuals throughout Karnataka.

The activities to empower the Youth:

• Up skilling the youth through conducting workshops on communication skills, leadership skills, life skills, soft skills and employability skills.
• Career guidance to build their future in a better way.
• Providing the exposure visits to corporate sector.
• Organizing debates on social concerns.
• Painting slogans on "Youth Empowerment" for public awareness.
• Organizing awareness campaigns concerning hygiene, sanitation and women empowerment.
